Its time-to-kill is another reason people are sticking with it. At around 250 milliseconds up to that 75-metre mark, it can beat almost any rifle in its range bracket. Sure, someone with a top-tier SMG will shred you indoors, and hyper-aggressive weapons like the TR-7 will always be dangerous up close. But hold them at arm’s length and the AK4D makes quick work of them. Long-range specialists might match its reach, but they don’t have the flexibility this rifle offers. With it, you can hold down lanes in Breakthrough or sweep through open ground in Conquest without swapping loadouts.
Getting it ready to dominate doesn’t take a ton of effort either. For players who like to flank, a smooth build is the Lightened Suppressor to keep you off radar, Heavy Extended barrel for stronger bullet velocity, and a 6H64 Vertical Grip to tame recoil even more. Throw in a 30-round extended mag and a crisp 1.75x optic like the 3VZR, and you’re set. Prefer long-range control? Go for a Redwell Shade-X Suppressor, a 16” Custom Heavy barrel, and a clean 3x sight—this turns the rifle into a counter-sniping tool that also holds its own at mid-range.
