After defeating the ancient paladin and his guards, approach the warded door ahead. Destroying it will open the path forward and advance the quest. The atmosphere in the Undercrypts is thick with malice, and every step forward brings you closer to facing even greater challenges.
Protecting Donan at the Black Tomb of Sankekur
Your next destination is the Black Tomb of Sankekur, where you will meet Donan once again. This time, Donan is attuning a soulstone, a critical process in the fight against the evil that plagues Sanctuary. However, the ritual is not without danger. During this time, a Manifestation of Hate will spawn in front of Donan, and it is your job to protect him while he completes the attunement.
The Manifestation of Hate is a dangerous enemy that can teleport around the area, summoning mobs to aid it in the fight. These enemies can overwhelm you if you're not careful, so it’s important to focus on clearing the adds while keeping an eye on the Manifestation itself. Make use of your mobility and AoE skills once again to keep the area under control and prevent the situation from getting out of hand. Defeat the enemies and the Manifestation to protect Donan.
Completion and Rewards
Once Donan finishes attuning the soulstone, speak to him to complete the quest. With the Manifestation of Hate vanquished and Donan’s ritual successful, the task is complete. Now, proceed to Wejinhani to search for Donan and continue the journey.
